Becoming a leading company is only possible through the perfect combination of the talents of technology development and properly understanding and feeling a customer’s needs. Innovation is the process of transforming new and creative ideas generated within this framework into economic value. Particularly in recent times, customer-driven innovation has taken its place among Turkcell Technology’s strategic focus points, similar to many leading companies.

What are we doing differently from conventional innovation processes? The biggest difference is at the stage of the first step, which is the generation and maturation of ideas. We ensure that our continuously thinking and creating engineers also feel and understand the needs and expectations of our end-customers more. This is in order to directly solve our customer’s problems’; and generate ideas that would add value to their lives. At this stage, social scientists, such as sociologists and psychologists work with our engineers and play a major role in our success.

Think Platform

Turkcell Technology gives the utmost importance to the inclusion of every employee in the innovation process. And in order to utilize the process of developing and enhancing ideas, it has established an on-line platform called “Think”. This platform is where ideas are posted along with other people’s opinions and rating of these ideas and offers of cooperation to work together to develop ideas. It creates a very effective environment for the necessities of innovation: networking and finding potential for cooperation.

Project Market

The ideas that are grown through the Think platform will be conceptualized and presented in the Project Market activity. All company employees are invited to this activity. The Project Market activity is held monthly, and is where a jury of members evaluates projects. Those projects found to be suitable will be implemented, and the idea creators and team members who worked on these projects are rewarded.
